Prior to joining Ballast Point Ventures in 2004, Matt Rice began his career in the Health Care Investment Banking Group of Raymond James Financial, where he focused primarily on the specialty pharmaceutical, drug distribution, and contract research organization sectors.

2008

Matt also worked in the Strategic Alliances group at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research prior to rejoining Ballast Point Ventures as a Vice President in 2008.

2011

In 2011, a second commercial entity, Amniox Medical, Inc. was founded to market the company’s proprietary technology in the orthopedic, wound care, and spine markets.
