This salary exempt position is assigned to the Electrical Department and will report directly to the Electrical Maintenance Manager. The individual in this position will be responsible for supporting reliable operation of the plant electrical and automation systems while helping to keep maintenance and repair costs at a minimum. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Loader Operator to join our Ready-Mix Concrete team in Mangonia, FL. This is an hourly position reporting directly to the Plant Supervisor. The primary responsibility of this position is to safely load material from stockpiles and maintain the plant/yard appropriately. Responsibilities Job Duties: * Safely operate the site Loader in moving materials, and ensuring materials are properly stored. * Ensure all irrigation systems are operable & appropriately hydrating the various aggregates. * Ensure plant/yard housekeeping is appropriate to include shoveling, sweeping, and washing down the yard frequently. * Ensure all appropriate EPA guidelines are followed and yard up to appropriate regulatory standards. * Assist Plant Supervisor with monthly inventory. * With direction from Plant Supervisor, coordinate the traffic flow of the yard. * Ensure haulers are placing materials in appropriate areas. * Ensure haulers are rendering tickets in the batch house. * Must be able to travel within the delivery area to other plant locations. * Ability to safely offload rail cars. * Ensure plant bins are fully loaded with appropriate materials during batching hours of operation. * Properly maintain the loader, i.e., grease all fittings, keep fuel level full, perform daily mechanical inspections, and report issues. * Ability to perform other duties as required. Mid-Level Associate - Trial and Defense - Miami (must be admitted to the Bar in Florida & NY) Our Miami office is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Attorney to work with our practice focused on the defense of complex product liability matters (environmental, asbestos, talc, etc.) and commercial disputes, working with product manufacturers, suppliers and insurers in relation to other long-tail and other general liability matters. We are looking for a Diesel Truck Mechanic for our Miami/Fort Lauderdale Maintenance Shop. The Truck Mechanic is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the maintenance and repair of various types of mobile equipment in the Company's shop or on public roadways as necessary and maximizes equipment availability using efficient and proactive preventative maintenance programs. This position ensures compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations for safe, environmentally sound maintenance activities. Responsibilities Responsibilities: * Provide mechanical maintenance, including repairs and lubrication. * Repair and maintain air brakes, vehicle air conditioning, and hydraulics. * Repair and maintain truck electrical systems, i.e., 12v &/or 24 vdc. * Report equipment breakdowns to generate work orders. * Prepare work orders * Keeps the equipment being operated, clean and safe. Qualifications Qualifications: * HS Diploma or Equivalent * Have a current Commercial Driver's License, preferred. * At least 2 to 5 years' experience as a diesel mechanic working on commercial trucks or manufacturing equipment or both. * General knowledge of a trucks electrical system. * General knowledge of air brakes and their components. * Mobile AC repair and their components. * General knowledge of hydraulic components. * General knowledge of the drive line and suspension. * Able to speak clearly and listen attentively * Able to work 12 hr. plus shifts as needed. * Able to work nights and weekends as needed. Working Environment: * Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb to heights of at least 50 feet frequently. * Able to speak clearly and listen attentively * Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
