Titan Machinery was founded in 1980 on the principle of serving customers better through growth--Turning the purchasing power, equipment and parts inventories, parts and service expertise, industry know-how, and local commitment of two stores into our customers' advantage.
In 1985, Case Company and International Harvester merged.
Right after that in 1986, they acquired Steiger’s 4-wheel drives, probably the most highly respected 4-wheel drive.
A second-generation ag journalist, Mike Lessiter has been Editor/Publisher of Farm Equipment since 2004.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he was named president of Lessiter Publications Inc. in 2007.
In 2011, it acquired at least four dealership companies in the United States.
As of the year 2011, the total revenue generated by the company is more than $1 billion.
