1980

Titan Machinery was founded in 1980 on the principle of serving customers better through growth--Turning the purchasing power, equipment and parts inventories, parts and service expertise, industry know-how, and local commitment of two stores into our customers' advantage.

1985

In 1985, Case Company and International Harvester merged.

1986

Right after that in 1986, they acquired Steiger’s 4-wheel drives, probably the most highly respected 4-wheel drive.

2004

A second-generation ag journalist, Mike Lessiter has been Editor/Publisher of Farm Equipment since 2004.

2007

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he was named president of Lessiter Publications Inc. in 2007.

2011

In 2011, it acquired at least four dealership companies in the United States.

As of the year 2011, the total revenue generated by the company is more than $1 billion.

2013

As of the year 2013, Titan had 107 dealerships in Iowa, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
