A title junior assistant performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to help ensure the smooth flow of operations in the workplace. Their duties depend on the needs of their company, but typically include answering calls, managing e-mails, processing documents, organizing files, arranging schedules, and greeting visitors of the office.
Furthermore, they are also primarily in charge of tasks related to titles, which may include generating title reports, processing titles for clients, obtaining title policies, and evaluating the completeness of title-related documents. On top of these duties, they may also be a runner for any errands that their supervisors might give them.
A college education is not always required to become a junior title assistant, but it can be an advantage. The same goes for prior work experience. But if an applicant wants to increase their chances of job placement, acquiring a degree and relevant work experience is a good idea. Moreover, adequate knowledge of titles is also a plus for this entry-level job.
