ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and process title paperwork for all new and used vehicles (50 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico).Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems specific to titles.All team members partake in receiving, routing, resolving inbound customer calls; Provide exceptional customer service in the store and over the phone; Respond to customer inquiries and messages in a timely manner. Deliver positive, friendly customer service.Work closely with other TL departments, customers, and management to complete title paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.Receive and ensure accuracy of titles and ensure they are properly recorded in system.Follow up with DMVs to ensure correct titles are received on each unit.Coordinate efforts with funding sources to locate processed titles, title corrections, and receipts of paid-off titles.Maintain internal databases including state requirements for titling and outstanding titles.Communicate state requirement changes to funding sources as needed.Follow up with funding sources for title retrieval when title changes are needed.Assist with multiple clerical functions.Process terminated titles and termination packets for customers.Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.Normal range of hearing and vision.

The DMV/Title Specialist provides a variety of clerical functions involving collateral documentation, retention and other lending activities to support the lending team. They will be responsible for the filing of lien instruments on motor vehicles, pledged as collateral security. Duties will also include but is not limited to the initiation of the filing process, maintaining records of filings, disbursing funds to Department of Motor Vehicles or other agencies in appropriate jurisdictions, as well as maintaining current registration information for all states.

All candidates who wish to be considered must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in lending processing with a financial institution or DMV/Title processing. Strong computer skills are a must. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
