Funniest was a very kind old man that offered me candy from england and tea if I agreed to fly to Chicago to help him set up his box. I work in Colorado. Or a woman that said she spent over $900 to buy two tivos and set them up and didn't know we have a monthly service fee she yelled at me as she set up service then requested my supervisor because I "Robbed her" Cringe are usually the 3 toothed banjo strumming hillbillies that try to use dialup to connect there boxes to service for updates. One in particular he had someone from geek squad, someone from his cable providor and someone from a AV company trying to figure out why a new tivo needed to connect to the internet. He yelled at me and I made the mistake of laughing at him without muting my phone first.
While the question is totally out of my area of expertise, I would imagine Tivo is going to have to worry about more competition. Similar to the bill that expired requiring providers to offer cablecards to customers, drastic changes are likely to be non-beneficial to both parties.
I am usually the loudest person on the floor but quite often. I mute A LOT. Fun fact, if you ever think you are muted while calling someone for help there is a %80 chance that they are talking about you.
Yup, most of our customer base are people that have had TiVo for years.
