TJS Deemer Dana company history timeline
Jones’ firm and the two subsequently formed Jones & Thigpen, CPAs on January 1, 1972.
Richard G. Deemer founded what was to become Deemer Davidson Prather P.C. in 1972 after spending five years with a national accounting firm.
Arthur Dana & Company, P.C. was formed on August 1, 1999, by Arthur Dana, John Vandaveer, and Kenneth Wood, three certified public accountants with big firm experience and long tenures serving the Savannah financial community.
Pamela O’Quinn, a CPA with a successful local practice on Wilmington Island, joined Arthur Dana & Company, P.C. as a Partner in 2001.
Again, in 2008, Lazard Dana LLP grew by bringing in Deemer Davidson Prather P.C. which became Deemer Dana & Froehle LLP.
Thigpen sold his interest in Jones & Thigpen, CPAs and purchased the assets of its Dublin location forming what came to be known as Thigpen, Jones, Seaton & Co., P.C. Thigpen, Jones, Seaton & Co., changed their name to TJS & Company, LLC in 2013.
TJSDD was formed on January 1, 2014, through the merger of two Georgia accounting firms, Deemer Dana & Froehle LLP, based in Savannah and Atlanta metro area, and TJS & Company, LLC located in Dublin.
On September 1, 2019, Vertisys, a managed IT services company merged with TJS Deemer Dana LLP. The purpose of the merger was to expand our internal services to our accounting clients.
On November 1, 2021, Corbak Office Technology Solutions, LLC merged with the Firm.
