Atlanta's leading caterer, Proof of the Pudding, is seeking additional Warehouse Associates to join the Off-Premise Catering team headquartered from the corporate office in West Midtown Atlanta. Warehouse Associates are responsible for a wide range of tasks to help ensure efficient overall operations of the changing event logisitics and business needs. Work assignments and tasks can change on a daily basis based on the immediate needs of the event calendar but typically include picking and packing equipment onto trucks according to pack-lists and assisting with the organization and inventory of equipment, décor, and product. The ideal candidate has experience working in a warehouse setting, enjoys being a team player, and is highly organized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs transfers or products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse
Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise
Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Assist with pulling and packing equipment for events, unpacking and organizing equipment returned to warehouse.
Loading and unloading trucks, transferring equipment between outlets, and making deliveries or driving to events when needed.
Cleaning and organizing the warehouse, china room, and dish room.
Assists warehouse leads with equipment & inventory control.
Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures

Essential duties and responsibilities
Stocking suites throughout the event venue with equipment and food & beverage products according to pull-sheets or direction from management
Assists in all gameday operations as business needs dictate.
Interact with customers in a professional and upbeat manner.
Ensuring hot and cold food is delivered in accordance with food safety standards and suite orders.
Assist with disassembly and event breakdown: end of event inventory, warehouse stocking, and organization of equipment and leftover food products.
Work efficiently and independently to complete assigned tasks.
Cleaning and sanitizing food contact surfaces such as dishes, small wares, and food prep surfaces.
Punctual and consistent work ethics
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
1+ year experience in a food service role emphasizing operations or logistics, experience in high volume of stadium food & beverage preferred
Live within 25 miles of UGA campus is preferred.
ServSafe certified or is available to receive training.

Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to provide excellent service to our customers.
Comfortable receiving on-the-job training to perform their responsibilities.
