Established in 2001 as TN Asset Management.
2005 Merged Dia Reiko Kogyo Co., Ltd., (a subsidiary company in the cryogenic equipment business), and Nissan Kogyo Co., Ltd. to create Cryo One Inc.
The company developed into the second largest asset management firm in Zimbabwe before acquiring a Finance House in 2006 which was renamed TN Financial Holdings.
2007 Merged Nippon Tansan Co., Ltd., Ekika Tansan Co., Ltd., their holding company Nippon-Ekitan Holdings Corporation, and the carbon dioxide business of Taiyo Nippon Sanso, to create Nippon Ekitan Corporation.
In February 2009 TN bank launched commercial banking operations after having operated for ten years as a Finance House.
In 2009, TN Financial Holdings successfully completed a reverse merger with Tedco, a Zimbabwean furniture company, to form TN Holdings Limited, a listed company.
2010 Acquired a 51% share of K-Air India Gases Pte.
2012 Made a takeover bid for Leeden Limited to make it a wholly owned subsidiary via its wholly owned subsidiary Taiyo Nippon Sanso Singapore Pte.
Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Limited acquired 100% shareholding in TN Bank in January 2013.
2015 Merged five subsidiaries in the LP gas industry to create Taiyo Nippon Sanso Energy Corporation.
2016 Established Yahata Sanso Center jointly with Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (currently Nippon Steel Corporation). Acquired part of the United States-based industrial gas business and related assets of Air Liquide via Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc.
Cassava Smartech Zimbabwe Limited is a Fintech Company listed on the Zimbabwe Stock of Exchange effective the 18th of December 2018.
2018 Established the Technical Academy as a hub for technological education.
2020 Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation Split Preparation Corporation was established in preparation for the transition to a holding company structure.
