Job Description Levato's Little Ones is a Paths-to-Quality rated Preschool/Daycare. Duties Work with the general direction of the Daycare Director and Team Leads (Lead positions are available). Assist in the development and supervision of children ages 3 mos to 5 years old. Assist with designing and preparing creative materials and classrooms for activities to promote intellectual and creative growth, taking into consideration students' varying needs and interests. Engage children in learning activities and creative play designed to promote intellectual, physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, reading books to class and field trips. Attend to children's basic needs by aiding with dressing, feeding, bathing, diapering, bathroom activities, etc. Interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner. Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, proper eating habits, personal hygiene, and social skills. Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems and discuss them with supervisors and child development specialists as needed. Communicate with parents about each child's daily accomplishments, interests, and challenges. Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration. Complete training requirements as required by certification agencies. Requirements Have the ability to perform job duties.
