Assist in compiling and maintaining a portfolio to demonstrate growth and development of skills for each child Observance and application of safety practices always including supervision and maintaining proper ratios Maintain effective and professional relationships with enrolled families Develop and maintain well-defined lines of communication and professional boundaries. Collaborate and establish effective working relationships with teaching staff and agency management. Assist with ensuring that snacks and meals are served “family style” with an adult seated at the table with children. Ensure that menu production records are accurate. Assists with proper storage of food on daily and weekly basis Meet food handling and safety requirements Assist with ensuring that children with exceptional needs are fully included in all program activities Adhere to child abuse reporting requirements Assist with maintaining a system of confidentiality of records and information on Head Start children and families.
