Duties
All of our teaching staff are responsible for upholding state and school policies as well as maintaining classroom/school cleanliness and organization. AssistantTeachers help with delivering age appropriate curriculum as directed from their Lead Teacher, and contribute to the development of age-appropriate curriculum as they are ready or interested. AssistantTeachers will have some communication with parents about their children during drop off and pick up times, and so a professional and cheerful disposition is a must. And of course, all teachers are responsible for providing loving care to the children in our school!

Administers and/or coordinates a thorough assessment which may include language, behavior, visual motor, gross and fine motor, and cognitive skills using a variety of techniques including standardized tests, rubrics, checklists, curriculum based measures, developmental scales, observations, behavior objectives, and the like.
Confers with parents, school counselors, classroom teachers, social workers, administrators, testing specialists and other professionals as needed to determine proper assessment tools and procedures, and to discuss evaluation results.
