The primary role of our after-school staff is fostering youth development in an after-school setting through leading students in enrichment activities related to our Priority Outcomes planned by the full-time staff. Our after-school staff is part of the Mentoring Alliance After School team and reports to the Mentoring Alliance After School Area Directors. These positions are non-exempt, part-time positions that average 17-20 hours per week. Site Administrator: The primary function of the MAAS Site Administrator is to provide administrative support for MA After School. There is one Site Administrator at each of our After School sites. Counselor: The primary function of the MAAS Counselor is to provide supervision and care for a group of students in MA After School. The majority of our staff are Counselors.
