Forklift Driver and Inventory Specialist

This position is primarily responsible for filling bulk lactose totes, labeling, and transporting dry products to the designated storage area. This position will need to demonstrate proficiency in safely operating a forklift for final preparation and transfer of 25kg products (lactose or WPC80) to designated storage area by forklift pallets while meeting customer expectations and supporting the achievement of the company's vision, mission and values.
Essential Functions
Inspect and fill lactose bulk totes to customer specifications.
Sample and test lactose for water activity and temperature.
Monitor metal detector and magnets for any extraneous.
Demonstrate expertise in safely operating a forklift.
Efficiently transfer and stage finished products to designated storage locations.
Shrink wrap, label and transport 25kg bags from the palletizer to the warehouse
Perform general housekeeping responsibilities.
Complete and maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping.
Safely handle, prepare and use chemicals while wearing proper PPE.
Operate and monitor assigned food safety preventative controls.
Understand and adhere to all GMPs and food safety policies and procedures and perform all work in a manner that ensures the highest standard of food safety and quality.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and days of work are on an alternating, night shift schedule is a repeating 5-2-2-5 from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. This position will work alternating weekends.

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year

LOCATION INCENTIVES: If you accept one of the duty locations listed below, you may be eligible to receive an additional 15%-25% of your salary each year for the first three (3) years of employment in addition to any overtime pay. Some locations may offer 25% for four (4) years.

The Housekeeper cleans and prepares guest units for occupancy, as well as public areas including Lodge entryway, public bathrooms, meeting rooms, guest services, and administrative offices.
REGULAR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare each cabin before guests' arrival by unlocking doors, turning on lights, and checking for cleanliness.
Clean and prepare guest units for occupancy following specified cleaning procedures.
Restock and/or maintain specified products used to clean assigned units.
Complete daily unit assignments, identifying the status of each assigned unit, reporting any maintenance problems or product shortages, and communicating regularly with guest services.
Maintain security for guests and property by keeping unit doors and windows shut and locked at all times; setting thermostats to proper temperatures for the season; properly handling lost and found articles; and observing all other security and safety regulations.
Manage daily laundry by pre-treating, washing, drying, and folding all linens, including sheets, towels, and kitchen laundry.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor or management (for example, cleaning public or employee restrooms, washing windows, checking units, or training new employees).

Kitchen Supervisor

The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for the quality of all food coming out of the restaurant, including banquet/event service. Coordinates, plans and supervises the production, preparation, and presentation of food in the kitchen in a safe, sanitary work environment. Also responsible for ensuring food is prepared in a timely manner.
The main duties of the Kitchen Supervisor are monitoring the quality of the food, following all food safety regulations, creating new food entrees, ordering food and food service products, conducting regular inventory, assisting in managing food and labor costs, and coordinating the food service of the entire kitchen. The Kitchen Supervisor leads the kitchen team, including assisting in hiring and ensuring training of all new kitchen staff.
The Kitchen Supervisor should have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in the culinary field and restaurant experience as well as a degree in the Culinary Arts.

Must hold or be willing to obtain current Minnesota Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) and ServSafe certification.

Schedule room attendant & laundry hours based on the number of rooms rented daily.
Distribute daily workload to room/laundry attendants.
Perform detailed inspection of all guest rooms (vacant, checkouts and occupied alike), instruct on necessary corrections, and recheck to make sure corrections have been made.
Assist with cleaning of unassigned rooms as a room attendant prior to performing room inspections of other room attendants.
Update front desk by telephone or walkie of all vacant and ready rooms as they become available.
Communicate all maintenance and repair needs to the appropriate individuals.
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, neatness, and good repair of all guest-facing areas.

Work Environment
This job operates in a shop and plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position works a 12-hour shift following an alternating schedule which includes weekends and holidays.
Travel
Less than 5% travel expected for this position.
Required Education, Experience & Certifications
High school diploma/GED. Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Preferred Education, Experience & Certifications
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration. Welding experience. Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Associate degree in related technical field or equivalent number of years of maintenance experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Minimum age requirement is 18. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.
