Responsibilities
Collect, Prepare, image, and document the structure and/or composition of nanostructures related to semiconductor devices.
Manage the queue of samples and cleaving/analysis instructions from the Process Engineering staff
Sample preparation by hand cleave and micro-cleaver using tweezers
Sample highlighting including but not limited for dilute Hydrofluoric Acid
Imaging sample features utilizing Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM]
Collecting compositional feature data utilizing Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX)
Communicating imaging results to the Engineering staff
Development and optimization of analysis techniques
Train new users on sample Preparation and Analysis Equipment
Update and maintain Training and certification documents for sample Preparation and Analysis Equipment
Actively participate and contribute to continuous SEM Operations efficiency improvement
Qualifications
BS degree in Physical Science or equivalent experience is required
Previous hands-on experience with X-SEM
Hitachi SEM experience is greatly preferred
Proficient use of handling samples < 5mm with tweezers required
Experience working in a Lab environment is desired
The unrestricted right to work in the USA is required
Physical Requirements
Job duties include the preparation and handling of small samples for analysis. The candidate should be comfortable manipulating small samples (less than 5mm) and tools (tweezers, screwdriver, scribe, etc.) under a microscope.
Ability to work
Compressed Work Week Night Shift (i.e. 6pm - 6am) and weekends is required.

Role and Responsibilities
Director, M&A and Strategic Investments, CBD Legal. This position would be in our Corporate Business Development (CBD) Legal group, and would report to the Managing Director, CBD Legal.
Deal Counsel. The attorney's primary role would be as deal counsel supporting all aspects of the Corporate Business Development group's activities, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other strategic investments. Specifically, the attorney would be involved in:
Review M&A pipeline review decks and drive regulatory assessment review by antitrust, CFIUS and FDI counsel of potential transactions, including coordinating input from the applicable business unit leaders and technologists
Prepare and negotiate non-disclosure agreements
Work with internal tax and finance groups and external counsel on transaction structuring
Prepare and advise the deal team regarding the negotiation of term sheets
Conduct and coordinate due diligence investigations, including coordinating with Legal & Compliance Organization (LCO) groups and with IP counsel
Prepare legal and IP due diligence report-outs for the business and deal team
Work with outside counsel on preparation of definitive transaction documentation, working with the CBD deal lead to drive agreement negotiations

• Oversee the preparation and verification of commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export licenses.
* Understand U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements, including Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification and duty rates.
• Be aware of Importer of Record (IOR) responsibilities for documentation and duty payment.
• Know entry filing requirements such as CBP Entry Summary (Form 7501).
• Comply with Partner Government Agencies (PGA) rules such as FDA, USDA/APHIS, EPA, etc.
• File Importer Security Filing (ISF / '10+2') at least 24 hours before vessel loading.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
• Lead and mentor a team, setting performance goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities.
• Negotiate freight rates, service terms, and performance agreements.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, and customs clearance time.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize risks.
• Leverage logistics software and ERP systems for real-time visibility and reporting.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in international logistics or global supply chain management.
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, global trade compliance, and shipping documentation.
• Proven success in vendor negotiations, contract management, and freight optimization.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-cultural teams.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAGE preferred) and logistics platforms
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
Collect, prepare, image, and document the structure and/or composition of nanostructures related to semiconductor devices.
Manage the queue of samples and cleaving/analysis instructions from the Process Engineering staff
Lamella preparation using Focused Ion Beam (FIB) tools
Sample preparation for FIB stub by hand cleave and tweezers
Transfer Grids to sample holders using tweezers
Imaging sample features utilizing Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM], Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM)
Collecting compositional feature data utilizing Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (EELS)
Communicating image and compositional results to the Engineering staff
Development and optimization of sample preparation and analysis techniques
Train new users on sample Preparation and Analysis Equipment
Update and maintain Training and certification documents for sample Preparation and Analysis Equipment
Actively participate and contribute to continuous FIB Operations efficiency improvement
Qualifications
BS degree in Physical Science or equivalent experience is required
Previous hands-on experience with FIB and/or STEM/TEM
ThermoFisher non-automated FIB experience preferred
ThermoFisher TEM experience preferred
Hitachi SEM experience preferred
The unrestricted right to work in the USA is required
Physical Requirements
Job duties include the preparation and handling of small samples for analysis. The candidate should be comfortable manipulating small samples (less than 5mm) and tools (tweezers, screwdriver, scribe, etc.) under a microscope.
Requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Duties also include application of proper industry safety procedures when working with dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.
Ability to work Compressed Work Week Night Shift (i.e. 6pm - 6am) and weekends is required.
Salary Ranges$18.08 - $24.21
Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
