It's a job
Very leftist organization. The former executive director spent a few hours every morning along with three other employees talking about the democrat candidate in the 2008 election in the public area. They were wasting work time standing around talking their leftist politics while other employees were working and dealing with the public. This was allowed to go on.
They have a lot of days off which says you are not essential.
