    This seasonal part time position has some flexibility in both hours and scheduling depending on what the right candidate is looking for. A typical work day is 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.. working on the brand new golf course, which opened May 2025. We are looking for 2 or 3 individuals to help with Walkmowing Greens, Tees and Collars in addition to roll greens or raking bunkers. Key mow days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a day of a weekend. Work is available now through the First of November and returning in March or 2026. College students and candidates looking for part time work- we are flexible with hours and work times, but a minimum of 10 hours a week is required. Requirements The minimum requirements for a successful candidate include (but are not limited to) Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions Valid Drivers License Must be able to work one weekend shift from 6:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M on Saturday or Sunday on most weekends Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen and background check Benefits Flexibility for scheduling and hours $15-18/hr depending on experience Uniforms Free Golf Urbana Country Club completed a 10 million dollar renovation project which included all new greens, tees and fairways, new bunkers with a premium sand and liner, and a 2.7 million dollar irrigation system Priority hiring for 2026 goes to quality employees from this season and we like to promote within whenever possible.
