Our offices are located in Texas and Louisiana with a staff of over 350 engineers, scientists, technicians, geologists, hydrogeologists, and associated laboratory and support personnel. TWE is seeking applicants for a CPT Operator position with a Class A driver's license in our Field Services Division, based out of Houston & Beaumont, Texas. This position will require performing CPT, drilling, sampling, and crew supervision duties. Experience in operating truck & ATV rigs and mechanical aptitude is preferred. Experienced candidates are welcome to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES Operator with all field activities, including but not limited to, CPT, SCPT, Dissipation, vane shear testing, drilling and sampling of geotechnical test borings, and installation of wells, plugging and abandoning of wells, and drilling of soil borings.     Job Description Geotechnical Engineering Intern - Megaprojects (Houston) Tolunay-Wong Engineers is seeking a full-time Geotechnical Engineering Intern to support our Megaprojects group in Houston. This role offers hands-on exposure to largescale industrial and infrastructure projects, working alongside experienced engineers and senior leadership. Prepare construction materials testing reports providing professional opinions and practical solutions, along with other professional documents, under the review of a professional engineer Manage routine to complex materials testing projects and with guidance, geotechnical engineering projects, including project scope, schedule, budget, and safety. Work independently on specific assignments with senior review. Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects. Work with local leader and other regional operations to effectively coordinate field staff, share resources, and manage workloads. Work with local leader, other engineers and project managers, and field staff to ensure specifications are followed. Work closely with Senior Manager and Senior Engineers to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. Assist Senior Manager and other leadership in developing business goals and objectives. Support client relationships to effectively achieve market sector goals and strategies. As needed, perform various field testing and observations. As needed, assist field operations with technician training and review. Required Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. Strong organization and customer service skills. Ability to exceed client expectations while thriving in a time critical / dynamic work environment. Ability to work both independently and as a team member. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint. Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgets. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required. Five or more years of construction materials testing, or geotechnical engineering experience required, or master's degree plus 4 years. Previous experience with large scale construction projects Experience working in a consulting firm required. Must have a valid driver's license.
