The Bureau of Land Management works to enhance the quality of life for all citizens through the balanced stewardship of America's public lands and resources.
The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide a variety of administrative and professional services for the purpose of supporting the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) offices located in Nevada.
Administrative Support Specialist - Tonopah Field Office candidates shall work to support requirements for Administrative Support and provide a variety of administrative and professional services for the purpose of supporting the Bureau of Land Management office. These services include, but are not limited to, receiving incoming telephone calls, communicating with the public, handling inquiries, providing information to the public, money handling (selling maps to the public) basic computer use, process travel documents, submit purchase requisitions, process incoming and outgoing mail, and file routine paperwork. Additionally, the Administrative Support Specialist will be expected to display a high standard in dress, appearance, and professional conduct to include strong oral communication skills, written communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Support Specialist will include, but is not limited to, the following:
Provide written and oral information to the public regarding land status records, mining, recreation, horses and burros, map purchase, etc.
Work closely with resource specialists to answer or obtain answers to inquiries pertaining to management issues.
Receive incoming telephone calls and determines which inquiries can be handled personally and which ones, by their technical nature, must be referred to others.
Conduct research necessary to respond to written or in-person inquiries, and when appropriate, refers complex technical inquiries to the proper sources of information

Sell mineral material and firewood permits, maps, National Park passes.

This requires the employee to ask probing questions in order to get a clear and accurate understanding of the information sought.
Deal professionally, respectfully, and firmly with people demanding information and services beyond the capabilities and policies of the office. When unable to respond, refer the person to the appropriate specialist.
Perform inventory weekly/bi-weekly and re-stocks so that items are available at all times. All monies collected will be properly documented and processed following appropriate accounting procedures.
Use automated computer systems to submit purchase requisitions, issue and process bills.
Act as cashier to receive payments and balances cash drawer daily.
Provide support with intake, sorting, processing and distribution of US Mail and/or other express mail/package delivery services.
Provide administrative project support compiling, collating, organizing, preparing large documents for printing, distribution, and/or mass mailing.
Become familiar with computer system calendar application in order to make, confirm and/or cancel internal reservations related to meeting room and/or vehicle availability.
Provide basic audio/visual set up of video, phone, teleconferencing devices.
Qualifications
The Administrative Support Specialist - Tonopah Field Office - Bureau of Land Management (BLM) shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
Must be able to communicate with the public effectively orally and in writing.
Must be able to follow federal travel regulations to review and process travel documents.
Must be proficient in MS Office.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university strongly preferred.

JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Working under general technical guidance, an Electronic Technician II specializes in ground-based electronic systems and works on various types of electronic equipment and related devices through a combination of installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, construction, and testing
Employee will be responsible to perform the following functions/duties:
Operate and maintain electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, digital and analog computers, industrial measuring and controlling equipment, microwave amplifiers and transmission lines, high-voltage power supplies and keying circuits, indicators and displays, and antenna positioning systems
Apply technical knowledge of electronic principles to solve basic problems using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and effect repairs to restore equipment to required operating condition
Manipulate computer keyboards and view and interpret computer displays
Troubleshoot to the component level and make needed repairs
Perform other job-related duties, as required.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Education and/or training from an accredited college or technical school with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory, or a military equivalent and 3 years of hands-on experience are required for this position.
In addition, an Electronic Technician II must possess the following qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in general electronics
Good understanding of electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems
Good understanding of test equipment used to maintain and repair equipment
Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and/or high-power radio frequency (RF) devices
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot to the component level and competency in soldering.

Perform property control and requisition functions in accordance with Contract Statement of Work, Property Management Plan, Associate Contractor Agreements, and specified instructions, regulations, and policies. Projects and priorities will be determined by the Logistics Lead for the Northern Ranges.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the NTTR Property Administrator in conducting property transactions, shipments, storage, disposition of excess property and scrap, warehouse management, and physical inventories. Research and/or resolve inventory discrepancies. Update property records using the Maximo Database Application.
Conduct Contractor Self Assessments (CSA's) as assigned and specified by the Property Administrator in accordance with the FAR 52.245-1.
Maintain and/or monitor assigned material, equipment, and property accounts (e.g., Air Force, FAR 52 accounted material, Supply Points, Air Force Equipment Management accounts, and Government provided vehicles).
Use the Federal Logistics (FEDLOG) application tool to research items with National Stock Number's (NSN) and search individual commercial vendor websites to verify item data as for non-stock listed items.
Process Air Force purchase requests into the Enterprise Solution Supply (ESS) and General Services Administration (GSA) Supply Center. Process Commercial Purchase Requisitions (PR's) into the Property Management System (Maximo). Prepare Material/Service Requisitions to include repairs, maintenance, and warranty services. Ensure supporting documentation and justification is included for both Commercial and Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) purchases using hard copy forms, Maximo and ESS.
Perform shipping, receiving, and distribution duties.
Manage, store, and ship/receive Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) in accordance with the Hazcom Program Policy.
Perform equipment custodian duties for assigned Air Force Equipment Authorization accounts.
Maintain accountability for all government-furnished equipment.
Perform all other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education: High school graduate or high school equivalency and at least five years related experience. CPPS or CPPA certification from NPMA Certified Professional Property.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this Position:
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52 property control requirements; Knowledge of Air Force Manual 23-122; Working knowledge of MAXIMO requisitioning and receiving modules. Ability to maintain accurate documentation; Working knowledge of the U. S.
