Specific Duties: * Incumbent must handle hazardous waste in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and company policy. * Inspect, dress, book and blend wax patterns per procedures. * Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standard as established by Supervision. * Record, on a daily basis, all work performed and the correct distribution of the work time by operational codes, using manufacturing computer system. * Gets supplies, uses waxes, lubricants as required. * Responsible for quality by visual inspection as well as by gauging. * Maintains a clean and orderly work area. * Observes all safety rules, practices, policies and procedures. * Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned. Physical and Mental Demands: * Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as listed below. * The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines. * Must pass Jaeger vision test.     The Wax Dresser must be able to interpret specifications issued by Product, Process, and Quality Engineering in fulfilling dressing and inspection operations. Operate the equipment efficiently when performing departmental operations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform visual inspection of all wax patterns to specifications (PEI/SOP). Dress, gate, book, blend, pin, label, stuff quartz rod and inspect patterns per procedure. Meet the specific productivity and quality requirements. Perform other duties that are assigned by supervision. Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE at all times Properly identify your work performed in Lot Control and affix required identification. Keep the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition. Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Perform all other duties assigned by supervision. QUALIFICATIONS: Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required). Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required). Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required). Must be able to learn job specifications that are required by new customers, including existing customers with changes in job specifications. Flexibility between assembly and wax departments. Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills. Teamwork is essential. Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
