BS Degree or higher in ME. Minimum of 7 years of automotive experience in using Catia for 3D design. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing BIW components A related advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience. Strong knowledge of vehicle styling and packaging. Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) required. Experience with Catia v6 (3DX) is a significant advantage. Familiarity with vehicle simulation, especially in Body rigidity, NVH, and Crash, is highly preferred. Ability to program in VBA and EKL to automate design workflows is highly preferred. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities to handle simultaneous projects and support requests. Excellent communication skills to liaise between design and CAE teams. Use industry best practices and up-to-date technologies to identify inefficiencies and improve the design process. A self-starter who proactively accomplishes tasks with minimal guidance.

This role is part of a growing engineering organization supporting complex, high-quality products used by leading aerospace OEMs. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in CAD Software, enjoys working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, and is comfortable supporting designs from concept through production. What You'll Do: Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX or CATIA. Support the design of aerospace tooling, fixtures, and ground support equipment. Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and compliant. Update and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and drawing packages. Support design changes, revisions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in design reviews and support production troubleshooting as needed. What We're Looking For: Strong proficiency in Siemens NX or CATIA (required). Experience in aerospace manufacturing, tooling, fixtures, or heavy mechanical equipment preferred.
