The experienced candidate will be responsible for operating grinding equipment designed to remove material from production parts to achieve any or all of the part requirements for thickness, flatness, parallelism, or surface finish.
Operate the grinding equipment and perform the necessary grinding procedures to achieve the specifications required per the product blueprint or job production line up
Properly read and understand blueprints including symbols, specifications, and dimensional limitations.
Properly use and read inspection gauges and tools including micrometers, calipers, and check gauges.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least three years prior experience using production metal grinding equipment.
Must be a High School graduate or equivalent.

Your Responsibilities
Use sketches, blueprints, specifications, and models to plan operations for the machining of tools and assemblies, ensuring safety and maximum efficiency
Programs, sets up, and operates tool room equipment including mills, lathes, and grinders
Verify dimensions of finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications using dial indicators, gauge blocks, calipers, micrometers, CMMs, Optical Comparators, and other quality gages
Utilize hand and machine tools to assemble parts of tools and to repair and modify gauges, and jigs
Design fixtures to be used as work aids for efficient fabrication of products and parts
