+ Experience operating precision surface grinders (Brown & Sharpe, Chevalier, or similar).
+ Ability to perform complete machine setup and accurate wheel dressing.
+ Strong understanding of precision measuring tools and inspection methods.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances.
+ Capable of working independently in a fast-paced machining environment.
+ Physical ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift light materials throughout the shift.

A manufacturing company is offering an immediate, full-time position for a Surface Grinder. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate surface grinder
Load and unload parts, lift and lower grinding table, and handle parts
Inspect parts using micrometer and dial caliper
Move stock from shelves and place machined parts back in stock
Complete shift paperwork

Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
Willingness and capacity to learn more skills, including but not limited to CNC operation.
