Job DescriptionPosition Summary The Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between Business Partners and the IT organization during ERP implementation. This role ensures that TopBuild's Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes-and the applications that support them-enable efficient, accurate, and scalable operations. The successful candidate will translate complex business requirements into functional system designs, oversee testing and validation, and partner with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and value-driven technology solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership & Process Alignment • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT for processes supporting the distribution segment, including quoting, sales order management, fulfillment, procurement, and inventory management. • Develop deep understanding of TopBuild's business model (customer pickup, job-site delivery, Specialty Distribution Group workflows). • Collaborate with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities, define priorities, and align initiatives with corporate objectives. • Maintain awareness of industry practices and emerging technologies that enhance O2C performance and customer experience. Solution Delivery & Continuous Improvement • Lead business analysis for new features, enhancements, and integrations for Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Pricing, and Fulfillment. • Translate business needs into functional requirements, process documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with enterprise architecture and IT standards. • Partner with Oracle EBS, APEX, Angular, and integration teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery through the SDLC. • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and post-deployment validation to ensure smooth adoption and operational readiness. • Manage a prioritized backlog of enhancements, support requests, and projects; communicate status and outcomes to stakeholders. • Support continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, KPI monitoring, and process optimization initiatives. • Analyze, troubleshoot, and recommend break-fix solutions following best practices. Governance, Compliance & Support • Ensure all O2C systems and integrations meet security, compliance, and audit requirements. • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents; identify corrective actions for recurring issues. • Maintain productive relationships with vendors and third-party partners to ensure alignment with business needs. • Maintain accurate documentation of business processes, system configurations, and data flows. • Provide Tier 3 end-user support.
