What You'll Do:
The GeneralProduction role works on the front line to ensure the ongoing processing of our reusable containers in regard to quality, quantity, and food safety.
In this role, you will:
Load handheld Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) onto the production line for sanitation processing
Inspect RPCs for quality and remove any waste material, stickers, tags, damaged RPCs, and non-Tosca RPCs from incoming inventory before sanitation.
Monitor processing of RPCs through the line and adjust input or output as needed to maximize throughput.
Unload handheld Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) from the end of the production line and inspect for high-quality standards.
Once sanitized, sort containers coming off the process line based on size and type, and ensure the finished product is stacked neatly.
Repair damaged RPCs as appropriate.
Monitor and inspect supplies or materials used for processing
Demonstrate good understanding and compliance with all the GMP standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment; sanitize the production line as appropriate
Identify any safety concerns or hazards and report them
Perform other related duties and assignments as required within the plant
What We Are Looking For:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs
Prefer candidates with warehouse or production experience
Must understand and operate automated machinery - touchscreen and switch panels
Individual needs to understand written instructions - quality, machine work instructions, etc.
Must be able to operate in alignment with safety functions - Lockout/Tag-out, Chemical Handling, etc.
Must be able to understand and comply with company and service center rules/policies
Ability to work occasional flexible hours and overtime based on company/volume needs
Work Schedule

Implements operational strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitability
Managing, coaching, and developing the production supervisory team.
Accountable for assigned site's key performance metrics including machine and labor efficiencies and provides guidance to departmental leaders to ensure scorecard objectives are met
Supports Operations Manager in managing capacity and participates in collaboration with other sites on scheduling optimization to meet internal and external customer on-time-delivery demands
Supports equipment feasibility studies and makes recommendations for investment; implements capital expenditure project and is accountable for payback expectations
Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to set continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
Accountable for the execution of the production schedule; facilitates escalation process for service disruptions in delivery dates.
Planning and allocating resources and asset downtime in support of preventative maintenance programs.
Quoting the purchase of new tooling and execution of tooling repairs and provide data and support to the EA and REA process.
Serves as the CI Project Leader for the facility.
Executes the annual financial plan and monitors performance through forecasting and/or other company reports
Provides guidance on staffing, training, employee relations and performance management to develop and enhance the salaried and hourly production team, working closely with direct reports
Interacts with key stakeholders to provide technical support, explore new business opportunities, and/or resolve order problems or complaints
Oversight for operations team disciplinary research, execution, and tracking to ensure consistent policy administration.
Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required
Green Belt preferred

Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site
Knowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facility
Knowledge of the physical environment and full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure
Knowledge of tools and techniques for preventing and addressing theft of assets, theft of information, vandalism, sabotage and other threats to a manufacturing facility
Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing, including its safe usage, maintenance and storage
Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processes

Responsibilities:
Manage and lead daily production operations.

Tasks
The Cargo Production (Process) Manager is responsible for:
* Ensuring the maintenance of a production framework, which provides safety, security and quality in accordance with the global LCAG production framework
* Providing counseling and advice to the F/GCs on special topics
* Evaluation and selection of external partners (esp. for handling services) in collaboration with the central procurement department, according to the relevant procurement processes
* Regular contact to the sales units in order to understand customer requirements and collaborate on high customer satisfaction
* Constant process analysis and identification of improving potential regarding effectiveness and efficiency of all handling processes
* Operational interface to the regional team and, where applicable, to central units
* Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by superiors
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
* High school diploma/GED required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education required
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the logistics or airline industry
* Good knowledge of LH Cargo's production processes and organization. Alternatively, excellent knowledge of comparable international airline/ logistics industry structures
* For Procurement / Supplier Management tasks desired relevant work experience of several years in procurement function
* Fluency in English required
* MS office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint as user
* Advanced professional operations know how and skills in an airline or logistics environment
* Willingness to travel
