Management is pressured to meet sales goals of specific brands so they pass that stress down to the employees under them to help them meet sales goals that they arent paid enough to care about. It's a place that could easily be a fun place to work if they stopped making it a high pressure corporate salesman culture and just allowed a store to be a store. They work you 10+ hours a day and force you to pretend like you're having fun for the customers. The second you actually are having fun with fellow employees they split you up. Only corporate fun that garners sales is allowed, they hate employees bonding and it's weird. They use a keep employees apart tactics in order to keep control.

Nothing, they do nothing but stress out everyone below them with unrealistic goals.
Stop focusing on pushing certain brands on customers for a quick buck and just focus on great wine. It will make your employees happy along with your customers. But they dont care about that, they just want to get paid.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to prepare for a store interview.
