Job Description: As a On-Call Dispatcher, you will be the first point of contact for customers in need of roadside assistance, as well as light and heavy-duty towing services. Your role involves handling a variety of responsibilities, including:
Answering Calls: Respond promptly and courteously to incoming calls for roadside assistance and towing services, ensuring that each customer feels heard and supported.
Quoting and Pricing: Provide accurate and competitive pricing quotes for all service requests. Clearly explain pricing details to customers, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
Dispatching Services: Efficiently enter call information into our towing software system, dispatch drivers to service locations, and monitor the status of each dispatch. Ensure all information is accurate to avoid delays or errors in service.
Processing Payments: Collect payments over the phone when necessary, using our secure payment processing system. Ensure all transactions are processed smoothly and accurately.
Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, even during high-stress situations. Strive to exceed customer expectations with every interaction.
Requirements:
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
Remote Work Setup: Must have a reliable internet connection, and a suitable workspace free from distractions. Ability to download, install, and use essential dispatching and payment processing apps on personal devices (PC and/or smartphone).
Availability: Must be willing to work on-call shifts several nights per week and 1-2 weekends per month, including rotating holidays. Preference given to applicants with daytime availability for dispatching and the ability to assist with administrative tasks in-office.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and dispatching to ensure correct information is relayed to drivers and customers.
Location: Position is primarily remote; however, applicant must be able to attend in-person, in-office training and meetings at our McPherson KS office. Preference will be given to candidates able to assist with administrative tasks in-office.

The Assistant Dispatcher is responsible for assisting the Dispatcher in coordinating, scheduling, assigning labor and equipment, and performing other administrative duties to ensure equipment reaches our customers in a timely manner. They may also on occasion, for short periods, perform the duties of the Dispatcher.
Duties and Responsibilities
Draw bars assigning cranes, trucks, and employees to all jobs the day before to provide an accurate daily activity spread sheet.
Process all new hires and assist in maintaining training database and assist in badging.
Evaluates, processes, and transmits information, instructions, and permits.
Monitors weather activity and evaluate how to proceed based on weather-related regulations and policies
Prepares daily dispatch reports and determine schedules.
Coordinate with billing to ensure rates and job tickets are submitted accurately and timely.
Works with the Compliance Specialist to ensure Maxim operates in accordance with DOT and other regulations.
Assists in the creation of appropriate maps and direction charts to assure compliance with applicable permit laws
Assists in the dispatch of labor and equipment, also maintains communication with operators and drivers.
Communicates with local unions timely to ensure customer orders are filled and satisfied.
Checks that inspections have been completed and are correctly filed; refers any discrepancies and service issues to service.
Performs weekly spot checks on rigging stock for cranes and warehouse stock.
Checks to ensure all items needed in the JDS are ready for the operator to perform the job.
Reviews ELD compliance for cranes assigned to that branch
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

The Opportunity
The Clinical Dispatcher is a specialized position performing multi‐channel emergency and routine consultation assignment for multiple service lines. The company's Consult Coordination Center (CCC) is a “virtual hospital”, with both clinical and operational support teams dedicated to accelerating patient care. The CCC is responsible for receiving and prioritizing emergency and routine consultations from clinical facilities. Work is performed under general supervision by Shift Supervisor and CCC Core Program Manager.
What You'll Work On
Effectively communicate with hospital clinical staff and Access TeleCare physicians to ensure timely and efficient patient care
Proficient in all CCC Coordinator duties.
Effectively and efficiently manage incoming consultations through CCC consultation lifecycle workflows processes
Interacts with clinical and operational teams to prioritize and assign requesting emergency/ non‐emergency consultations for multiple services lines.
Uses established and approved protocols, workflows, and the computer‐aided dispatch system to evaluate the situation and take the appropriate actions. Test readiness of computer, cameras, and other related communications equipment.
Monitors and maintains ques to quickly prioritize and assign consultations to meet or exceed SLAs.
Demonstrate service excellence in meeting and exceeding all metrics outline on performance index scorecard.
Exhibit a high degree of professionalism when interacting with the healthcare facilities, Physicians, co‐workers and supervisors.
May be required to be on‐call, remain on duty after shift‐end and respond to emergency situations at any time.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company polices to achieve the overall objective of the CCC and this position.
Maintains a favorable, collaborative and professional working relationship with all departments to ensure efficient working environment to achieve company's mission.
Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all issues or concerns and takes prompt corrective action where necessary.
Maintains a positive team spirit and fosters a positive organizational culture that aligns with the company values.
