What our Roadside Service Technicians do:
Driving and operating a service vehicle (i.e. loading/towing vehicles, flat tire changes, lock-out, fuel delivery services, etc.) On-scene time interacting with customer/establishing rapport, building relationships, trust and problem solving Utilizing on-board computer, radio communications, and mapping systems Completion of daily paperwork (i.e. call-logs, battery invoices, cash receipts, etc.) Inspecting and submitting maintenance reports of company vehicles for safe and efficient operation Education and training. I.E.: AAA Compliance Training, RPST,TSAAC, Lock-out, PSP, Battery Service Training
Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification
Must be at least
21 years

of age
to operate AAA vehicles Must have open shift availability Ability to drive a manual/automatic shift vehicle Customer service skills and the ability to interact with a wide-range of people Basic automotive/mechanic knowledge and experience operating a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license Basic computer knowledge
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Works outdoors at vehicle sites when servicing vehicles. Lifting and carrying tires and parts, weighing up to 50 pounds, several times a day; bending, kneeling and stooping as required for service calls. Works in all weather and all traffic conditions. Vehicle recovery sites may be wet, messy and hazardous.
Service Providers are required to provide a photograph for identification purposes.
If needed for identification purposes, a photograph may be obtained
after

AAA Northern New England is seeking Roadside Technicians and Drivers to join our team. No experience necessary! We will train you to become a roadside technician and be part of the team that rescues millions of members. We are seeking individuals that are passionate about helping others and enjoy working independently.

As a Tow Truck Driver, you will provide some light services like lockout services, battery diagnosis, changing tires et cetera, but most of the job will be rescuing, mounting, and towing disabled vehicles! You will operate a variety of larger service and towing vehicles including wreckers and flatbeds.

No experience required. All offers of employment are conditional pending a drug screen and background check. In order to be hired as a AAA Tow Truck Driver, candidates are required to obtain and maintain a Federal DOT Card.

United Road Towing tow truck driver job description

Export Enterprises is an established towing company for over 40 years in the Boston area with multiple State and Municipal contracts. We run a fleet of all sizes, from class A to class C. We are looking for a qualified individual with the ability to operate all types of Heavy-Duty equipment. Two or more years of heavy-duty towing and recovery is preferred but not required for the proper candidate. Day-to-day responsibilities will include responding to light, medium or heavy-duty tows, accidents, and road services, as well as transporting wrecked vehicles, and assisting in developing our heavy-duty division. This position is Full time, with Top Pay & Benefits!

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS SHOULD:

  • Possess a valid CDL-A License and Valid DOT medical card (We will send for the med card)

  • Be Willing to Submit to Pre-Employment & Random Drug Testing as Per FHA Enforcement Regulations & Be able to pass a MSP Background check. No felony records accepted.

  • Have Ability To Operate all towing equipment From Light to Heavy Duty Wreckers to Flatbeds

  • PREFERRED CANDIDATES MAY HAVE:
    • Experience with Heavy Duty Towing or Medium Duty Towing
    • Proper candidates will be trained in full.
    • Mechanical ability and background.
    • Certifications from STA, TRAA, Wreckmaster, or Other Certifying Training Programs. Hoisting License a plus as is TWIX Card and Haz Mat Endorsements
