Within Space, we are seeking a talented Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join our Agile Talent Center team as an RTE deployed to the VUE program with a desire to facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes and assist teams in delivering business and customer value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage roadblocks, and facilitate improvement in our Space Business Area. The RTE will support the Solution Train Engineer and be the direct program liaison for all activities described below.
As an RTE for the Agile Talent Center team, you will be expected to:
- Work together with Product and Technical stakeholders of the ART to manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART
- Serve as the primary facilitator of ART level events and processes including Value Stream Mapping, Roadmap creation, Backlog administration, Program Increment (PI) Planning, Product Owner Sync, Scrum of Scrums, PI Review, Demonstrations, Retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt Workshops
- Ensure work is clearly defined at the Epic and Feature levels including clear Descriptions, Acceptance Criteria, and Business Value statements
- Track that body of work against customer delivery milestones and products
- Serve as the primary Agile coach for the ART, working with business owners, stakeholders (including customers), Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Kanban leads, and Team members to ensure the processes and practices of the program align with the purposes and desired business and mission outcomes of Agile/DevSecOps principles
- Throughout each PI, oversee and assist with planning and tracking the implementation of Features including dependency and risk management, escalation and tracking of impediments, resource management prioritization, and alignment of work with Earned Value Management (EVM) constructs
- Establish and track key ART level metrics in addition to EVM, regularly communicate these metrics to program/technical key team members and relevant stakeholders
- Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering
- Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure program implementation and alignment
- Improve the flow of value through Value Streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevSecOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
- Facilitate Regular System Demos that show Acceptance Criteria has been met and are a vehicle for selling off Features to Stakeholders
- Assess the Agility level of the ART and facilitate improvement including refresher training and skills path guidance aligned with Lockheed Martin training opportunities
Basic Qualifications:
Experience supporting Agile teams and dependencies in an Enterprise organization using SAFe, LeSS, DAD, Nexus, or similar scaled Agile framework
Experience working with Agile tools e.g. Jira, Agile Central (Rally), or Agility (VersionOne) as an Admin or Super User
Active TS/SCI Clearance

With big ambitions, we specialize in the development, construction and operation of RNG, landfill-gas-to-electric and dairy digester facilities. The team operates around 50 sites in 32 states with a robust development pipeline.
About the role
The Principal Facilities Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support to operating the Assai Renewal Natural Gas (RNG) plant located in Throop, PA.
A key asset for Archaea Energy, this facility converts landfill gas, collected at the landfill, into pipeline quality natural gas (High Btu or Renewable Natural Gas). The facility processes the landfill gas by removing the majority of the non-methane components including CO2, Nitrogen, water, sulfur and volatile and non-volatile organic compounds to attain pipeline quality gas.
The support will range from plant optimization to small upgrade projects. This role will work closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel at the plant in support of achieving plant runtime and production KPI's. They will also work closely with in-house Engineering teams and 3rd party Engineering Contractors to develop workpack deliverables for plant modifications. A key accountability will be maintaining and updating Process Safety Information for the plant.
The successful candidate must be able to report to the plant in Throop, PA at least 3 days per week. You must live near the site or be willing to relocate to report into the site to be considered for the role.
Key accountabilities
Lead the creation of MOC's to document plant modifications and upgrades
Work directly with 3rd-party engineering firms for engineering deliverables that are not internally generated
Work with plant PSM coordinator to ensure PSM deliverables are kept up to date
Review and approve major engineering submittals generated by 3rd parties
Provide engineering input into operating, maintenance, commissioning, and start-up procedures and strategies
Drive the right level of risk assessment for changes, from a Hazard Checklist to a HAZOP
Ensure designs are aligned with safety and long-term serviceability as top priorities
Act as a resource for new operators and technicians in the design and operation of the gas plant
Provide start-up support for plant upgrades
Essential education
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent in related field
Essential experience
More than 5 years experience with natural gas processing, refining, petrochemicals or related field.
Proven track record in practical application of engineering standards and practices for operating facilities (e.g. ASME, API)
Experience with designing & executing minor mechanical modifications and/or overseeing complex repair scopes
Experience and technical understanding of engineering, maintenance, and operation of gas processing equipment
Experience in root cause failure analysis
Proficient in working with PFDs and P&IDs.

Professional Engineering (PE) license
Experience with cryogenic gas plant operations

Main Responsibilities:
With support, accountable for assigned product relationship with a health authority (FDA or EMA), ensuring alignment with product GRL and as needed, support from Head, Regulatory TA if escalation is required. May negotiate on behalf of CSL with health authority to achieve desired regulatory outcome.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with exposure to regulatory activities/submissions and 3 years working on developmental products. Previous regulatory affairs experience is preferred.
Experience in working in teams with either a direct or matrix manager. With support, assesses preferred option for tough decisions.
Candidates have developing knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical/biological product development and regulatory requirements for product development and approval in one key region (EU, US, Japan).
Experience working in Regulatory Affairs with agency interaction responsibility with at least one health authority is preferred.
Relevant experience working in a complex and matrix environment is preferred. Ideal candidates will have clinical or device foundation.
