Essential Functions
Dig holes, work with hand tools, restore landscaping
Lay fiber innerduct and pull fiber through existing ducts
Operate heavy equipment and excavation truck
Operate pipe and cable locators and mark underground utilities
Measure and record installed quantities of fiber
Assist on overall job including all tasks required to build and install a site per customer specifications
Maintain clean, orderly environment adhering to company policies and industry regulation/standard(s) (OSHA)
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be at site locations both on the ground and on building roof tops, sit, stand, walk, use both hands, and reach and raise items above the head, use fingers to feel and handle, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force of 75+ or more pounds.
Work Environment Most work is performed externally, on-site, outdoors, with exposure to the elements of nature working under normal construction conditions. 25% of travel is required in support of this position. Approximately 5% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Night and weekend work may be required up to 25% of the time.

**The Opportunity**
As the **Solar Production Estimate Subject Matter Expert,** you will have the opportunity tocontribute to technical due diligence engagements for multiple types of assets, including solar and battery energy storage renewable energy projects on behalf of lenders and investors; serving in a supporting role to a multi-disciplinary team of Independent Engineering and Technical Due Diligence consultants.
This is a key role on a team of engineers, consultants, and financial analysts, with the expectation to provide subject matter expertise in solar production estimating methodology. Consultants in this practice generally work on multiple concurrent projects at a given time. This position will report to the transaction solution team within Black & Veatch Infrastructure Advisory.
