What You'll Do:

Job Summary
As a Draft Beer Quality Technician (DQT), you are responsible for ensuring local bars/restaurants serve the highest quality pints of draft beer. A typical day will be visiting various customer locations to keep their draft beer systems clean and serving great beer. You'll build ongoing relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders to ensure their draft systems are serviced properly and serve great beer as the brewmaster intended!
Responsibilities and Duties
Draft Beer Quality Technicians clean beer lines in restaurants and bars along their assigned routes. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, mechanical skills, high integrity, self-motivation, and willingness to provide excellent quality of work and customer service.
Full-time hours with work scheduled Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm but exact start/end times will fluctuate based on assigned route and needs.
(no nights, early mornings, or weekends but regular overtime opportunities are available)
No previous experience is required as we provide training on draft beer system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Starting Pay
* 2 weeks of training at a rate of $20.00/hr. Post-training rate begins at $3.25 per beer line cleaned.
* The average full-time employee cleans 350-450 beer lines per two-week pay period.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Installs, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and maintains telecommunications and network hardware (routers, patch panels, IP telephones, analog telephones, fax machines, 66-blocks, 110-blocks, PRIs) as directed by the Telecommunication Coordinator and Network Engineer.
Installs, terminates, diagnoses and troubleshoots basic hardware problems with LAN/WAN cabling, including fiber optic cabling and CAT 3/5/6.
Maintains and resolves campus telecommunications and network work orders and follows up to ensure resolution with campus staff.
Maintains inventories of equipment and supplies to sufficiently accomplish standard jobs.
Installs and maintains network components including access points, cameras, routers, and switches.
Installs and maintains district security camera infrastructure including training and reporting.
Works with district electrical shop to determine cable layouts and best procedures for low-voltage cable installations.
Create / document as-built blueprint documentation of installed low voltage cabling.
Manages workload in accordance with the department and users priorities.
Responsible for properly maintaining district records, adhering to all policies set forth by the district for records maintenance and learning the records retention schedule for department records.
Routinely works on and maintains Access Control system,
Plans and accomplishes work from initial layout to final assembly which involves interpreting and applying building plans, specifications, blueprints, sketches, and manufacturer's instructions.
Determines the methods, techniques, materials, devices, and sequences best suited to the work.
Responsible for independently assessing the work situation on site, determining the best method of accomplishment and taking the necessary corrective action while following accepted safety practices.
Operates, installs hardware, troubleshoots and maintains keyless access control systems including proximity readers and proximity decoders.
Performs installation of access control systems,
Operates from and maintains a neatly stocked service vehicle.
Follows District safety guidelines.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, cleans and maintains the district surveillance camera system as directed by the Network Engineer.
Coordinates installation and cabling of new surveillance cameras with the electrical shop as needed.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and trains district personnel on the use and programming of intercom systems, including the programming of bell schedules and electrical repair of building intercom systems.
Coordinates outside vendor repair for low voltage systems (including intercom, data network, surveillance cameras, and access control systems.)
Stays up to date on all advancements in the assigned fields.

Be able to trouble shoot and test cabling infrastructure with industry standard test equipment. Candidate will be expected to have a basic understanding of how to implement a structured pathway and experience to account for the physical constraints of copper cabling on the desired pathway. The candidate will need to be able to interpret and follow floor plan designs and be able to address any deviations from the plans in a professional manner.
