The Recovery Technician Recovers tissue for transplant as an on-call, per diem member of the Tissue Recovery Team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Recovery Technician: Surgically recovers tissue according to company and regulatory standards and documents recovery activities as needed. Maintains all recovery instruments and equipment. Prepares and packs recovery instruments, equipment and supplies in preparation for recovery activities. Works with full-time staff to ensure adequate supply inventory, and promptly communicates deficiencies. Attends required training and monthly meetings as directed. Trains recovery personnel.
