EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A Journeyman lineman with 5 years of experience.
Practical knowledge of electronics, electricity, or related disciplines.
Excellent verbal communication, customer service, teamwork, and PC Skills.
Experience working directly with customers to resolve equipment and circuit issues.
CERTIFICATIONS and OTHER REQUIREMENTS
A valid CDL Class A or B without mechanical restrictions, a DOT Health Card, and be able to drive unrestricted on EPB's system. Must obtain a CDL Class A within a year of employment.
Satisfactory complete a 90-day training program.
Ability to use various test equipment and computer terminal or PC.

EDUCATION:
Required:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Work Keys and Mechanical Amplitude
Preferred:
Associate degree in Business or Quality related field
Analyst or related experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Require minimal direct supervision
Demonstrated good leadership skills
Demonstrated good written and oral communication skills
High level ownership for resolution of quality and productivity problems
Detailed experience in conducting, preparing, and reviewing PPAP reports
Training and working knowledge of GD&T.
Training and working knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machine.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferably employee should have practical knowledge of manufacturing processes of at least two years.
EQUIPMENT/JOB TOOLS:
Knowledge of all working quality tools used at Roper Corporation. For example: CMM, Micrometers, Calipers, Protractor, Offsets, Height Gage, etc.
