Band Two (II): Certified IR Technologist - With minimal supervision is responsible for setting up for all interventional procedures in a safe and efficient manner, completing all associated paper and computer work. Additional duties may include work on special projects such as new equipment evaluations, resource manuals, assisting in the design of areas where clinical equipment will be installed, or assignment to departmental committees. Band Two requires a minimum of 18 months of progressively responsible professional work experience as an IR specialist in a clinical or hospital environment with at least 6 months dedicated to the URMC Imaging Sciences Department, certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology, and capable of performing all IR competencies including but not limited to: TIPS, Angiography, Ablations, Pediatrics, Neuro IR, CT Guided Procedures.
Band Three (III): Advanced IR Technologist - Independently is responsible for preparing for all IR procedures and handling patients in a safe and efficient manner, completing all associated paper and computer work, and discharging the patient from the IR department with appropriate post IR instructions. In addition to the requirements of a Band Two Certified IR Technologist, a Band Three Technologist will be responsible for performing the duty as primary preceptor for new employees and students. A Band Three technologist is considered a subject matter expert in downtime procedures and acts as super-user when new equipment or programs are introduced to the department. Band Three Technologists will be proficient in and rotating through all areas of IR (Neuro, CT, IR) independently. Flexibility with room rotations shifts. Responsible for troubleshooting day to day operations, equipment malfunction, knowledgeable about inventory/products and their uses. Band Three Technologists will also have demonstrated the ability to rotate through the Tech of the Day (TOD) role where they will be responsible for coordinating Technologist duty assignments, be the single point of contact for Technologists questions or concerns, collaboratively work with the Nurse of the Day (NOD) and Doctor of the Day (DOD) to ensure cohesion amongst the three disciplines. Select Band Three Technologists may be designated as Leads to support operations on various shifts. Leads may either assist their shift supervisor, or in the absence of a supervisor, determine workflow and staff schedule/assignments. Leads may also provide performance evaluation input to the section supervisor. Band Three requires a minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible professional work experience as an IR specialist in a clinical or hospital environment with 1 year dedicated to the URMC Imaging Sciences Department preferred.

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking multiple Unlocatable Utility Locating Technicians in the following locations: Northfield, Faribault, Owatonna, Red Wing, Winona, Rochester, Lakeville, Cannon Falls, Dodge Center, Mankato, Jordan, Shakopee, Burnsville, Montgomery, Eagle Lake, Waseca, and surrounding areas.

This individual will be responsible for accurately locating and marking cables, pipes, and other conduits that carry utilities underground. The locators' efforts protect underground utilities from damage during projects that involve excavation.
Responsibilities:
Respond to locate requests within legal time limit
Mark found utilities using proper coloring system (APWA marking standards)
Read and interpret utility maps/prints to identify the size and type of underground utility.
Complete required paperwork for locates and line crossings/excavations
Work safely by adhering to LSC and client guidelines and procedures
Communicate work scopes and responsibilities amongst project specific field-based teams
Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs)
Operate and use electronic locating equipment
Gather data, prepare records and reports in a timely manner
Perform daily safety meetings and submit daily report documentations
Generate and gather equipment for kickoffs of projects
Ensure your work is utilized with respect to company goals
Document and report any incidents, near misses, and opportunities for improvement
Work in compliance with all technical procedures and guidelines
Assist the unlocatable lead in the unlocatable process
Utilize hand tools/Hydro-vac to troubleshoot unlocatable buried facilities
Properly document work done to show measurements for future use
Work with third party contractors to find buried lines
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma
1-2 years of utility locating experience preferred
Valid Driver's License required
Ability to travel and work in an outdoor environment
Capability to operate a company vehicle and use general hand/power tools
Must have strong critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Commitment to working safely and producing high quality, ethical service
Good organizational skills and detail oriented
Highly motivated and thrives in a dynamic, team-based and individual environment
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs
Availability to participate in on-call rotation
Physical Requirements and Demands:
Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment, as required
Ability to traverse rugged terrain, excavations and work around pipe and equipment, as required
Must be able to travel to offsite locations for extended periods of time
Frequent periods of standing for long periods
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lb.
Exposure to all types of weather and terrain
Ability to work long hours for extended periods, when projects demand
