Updates and maintains database of all communication equipment by generating work orders on jobs and then completing these jobs using approved CMMS. Responsible for prioritizing and scheduling all communication repairs, installation and customer projects. Provides customer support assistance with technical questions related to operations of the radio system and related equipment. Assists in the design, configuration, and implementation of radio system changes, upgrades, and improvements. Works with outside vendors on applicable systems. This role involves climbing and working at heights to perform tasks such as antenna and line installation, tower inspections, troubleshooting signal issues, and ensuring all equipment meets safety and quality standards. Technicians also handle cabling, grounding, and testing of radio frequency (RF) systems.
