Presents a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance. Performs work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits. Maintain the Night Roadside Assistance truck and tools assigned in an organized and clean manner. * Respond to RAP pages before they expire. * Maintain personal grooming, hygiene and uniform standards according to departmental policies. * Run credit cards, handle cash, and write clear and detailed invoices. * Must be able to reach the customer in a timely manner. * Able to perform Night Roadside calls, general repairs and maintenances. Ability to perform general repairs to electrical systems. * Obtain and maintain a current N.Y. State inspection license.preferred * Properly complete the services and/or repairs for which the Technician is trained as assigned by management or their designated representatives (i.e. Roadside dispatcher). * Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures. * Maintain an inventory of normal technician's tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work which the Technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the Service Department as "special tools, equipment and manuals". * Properly use and care for the tools, equipment and manuals provided by the Service Department. * Participate in and utilize to the best of one's abilities technical training as assigned by management. * Produce quality work and strive to keep comebacks at or below the levels set by management. * Maintain the Night Roadside truck assigned in an organized and clean manner. * Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean or cleaner as they were prior to being serviced. * Maintain personal grooming, hygiene and uniform standards according to departmental policies. * Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management. * Show common courtesy to all customers and dealership personnel. * Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management. * Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management. * Complete all paperwork needed to support the work done for submissions of warranty repair orders, payroll and other tasks assigned by management. * Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner. * Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs. * Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers. You will manage conflict or challenging behaviors with self-awareness, emphasizing safety and building trust while understanding each person's unique experience. You will also be responsible for screening residents and visitors at front door, create written documentation, including logbook entries, incident reports and progress notes. Manage inventory for supplies, maintain fire safety drills and logs, and provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance/NARCAN when needed. Assist with inspections and audits. Escort clients and serve meals as needed. Help maintain an orderly and clean facility. Related duties as assigned. This position is subject to mandatory overtime. HOURS: Full-time 37.5 hours per week QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or GED required. * CPR Certification or the ability to obtain certification required. * NYC Fire Safety Guard Certification or the ability to obtain certification required. * NYC Fire Safety Coordinator Certification preferred; employees must be willing to attempt to acquire certification. * Security guard license preferred; employees must be willing to attempt to acquire license. * Food Handler Certificate preferred; employees must be willing to attempt to acquire certification. * TB clearance when required. * Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness preferred; effectively communicate with others both in writing and orally; ability to maintain professional boundaries; basic computer literacy required. Part-Time Healthcare Device Technician As a Part-Time Healthcare Device Technician you will be responsible for managing a Product Collection Program on a customer site as part of the recycling program. This is a part-time position, with working hours ranging based on customer needs. A personal vehicle will be required to provide transportation between customer sites.
