Full-time Description SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE A Service Technician will perform mid-level and advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on farm equipment to fulfill customer's satisfaction. Acuren Inspection is currently recruiting for Phased Array Level II Technicians to support our operations in Kuttawa, KY. THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION. Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 90% of the work time (The environments will be Corn/Agricultural, Petro-Chem, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries, Pipelines and Pharmaceuticals.) Responsibilities * Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods (METHOD/S) of inspection * Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations * Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results * Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk on specific client engagements. Escalate these issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and timeline. * Review asset documentation and operational data; including inspection data, monitoring, and auditing associated NDE activities. * Complete integrity assessments including physical site walkdowns when required. * Prepare project reports including description of work done, conclusion and recommendations. * Perform specialized inspections * Must have experience developing techniques for approval by customer certifying agents. * May instruct and supervise others. * Other work duties as assigned. * Extensive knowledge of ASME and API requirements and procedures pertaining to the evaluation of applicable equipment for continued serviceability. * Knowledge of industry health and safety policies and procedures. * Capable of interfacing with customers regarding schedules and problem solving. * Ability to use applicable software and computer related equipment. About the Role We are looking to add an ASIC Technician to our growing Operations department. As an ASIC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, deploying, diagnosing, (minor) repairs, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring its optimal performance. The individual will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion. This position will directly support our datacenter operations at our Paducah, Kentucky mining locations. It is a fully onsite role. Essential Functions Assist in preparing, maintaining, and deploying ASIC miners. Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal. Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future hardware needs with Site Manager. Conduct additional troubleshooting methods on ASIC miners in support of research and development efforts. Liaise with, and provide training and support to, staff and coworkers on ASIC operation and other issues. Install networked peripheral devices and networking hardware products for ASIC miners. Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex ASIC miner issues, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions. Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of all ASIC miners, hash boards, control boards, and network switches. Construct, install, and cable-manage server racks for ASIC miners. Perform daily/weekly/monthly upkeep tasks such as air filter replacement and preventative maintenance for ASIC miners. Requirements Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where manual labor will be necessary during deployment days and initial setup of facility. Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories. Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. Ability to conduct research into hardware issues as required. Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. Self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Full Time, First Shift Must have extensive knowledge in preparing, staining, and evaluating gynecological and non-gynecological material including fine needle aspirations. Demonstrates competency in assessing all material with a high level of accuracy. Shows good judgment with attention to details as well as respect patient confidentiality. Job Duties: Assists with processing of specimens collected in CT scan as required. Performs routine microscopic evaluation of cytologic smears and cell blocks. Completely and correctly screens and interprets cytologic specimens. Numbers specimens received into computer system with proper identification as to the patient and specimen type. Maintains maintenance schedule for equipment and monitors supplies of the department.
