Position Details:
Schedule: Day Shift (10-hour shifts, 4 days a week; 7:30 am - 6 pm)
Call Rotation: Required for weeknights (Monday through Thursday from 6 pm - 7:30 am) & weekends (Friday 6 pm through Monday 7:30 am)
Full-Time: 40 hours per week (Benefits Eligible)
Responsibilities:
Work independently with a multidisciplinary team performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while assisting the radiologist.
Perform image post-processing and circulating procedures.
Participate in the PDP program and Radiology Leadership Development Program.
Utilize State of the Art technology - Siemens Fluoro units, GE Ultrasound, and Epic.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree or higher in a related field.
Certification: Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R). - Current or obtaining in the next 6 months

These two distinct radiological clinical service lines are organized as follows: Interventional Radiology, includes a team of close- knit clinical specialists (Medical Doctors, Registered Nurses, and Radiologic Technologists) who perform highly specialized Vascular and Interventional procedures, including most types of angiographic studies, nonvascular interventions, intra-vascular thrombolysis and central venous catheter placements. Neuroradiology, comprises highly trained Radiologists, Radiologic Technologists and Registered Nurses who work as a team to perform complex procedures such as cerebral angiography, myelography, stent placements and aneurysm coilings and embolizations. The Radiology Department at the Washington University Medical Center is regarded as one of the top five in the United States. It performs over 453,000 diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures annually.

Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications. .
Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work.
Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders and brakes. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.
Prepare and install aircraft interior items in accordance with company operation procedures and quality standards.
Remove and re-install nut plates, inserts and other fasteners used in aircraft interiors. Apply proper use of hardware and fittings on aircraft installations.
Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk.
Assist technicians, under supervision, with aircraft maintenance requirements.
Adapt to sudden schedule changes.
Additional Functions:
Work with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements that reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement techniques. .
Make and use simple patterns for own use employing standardized procedures. .
In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required. .
