Job Summary
Summary: Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.
Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listens to and resolves service complaints.
Visually inspects and listens to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantles machines to gain access to problem area.
Inspects parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; removes and replaces worn or defective parts; repairs broken parts; realigns and adjusts components; tests machine operation following repair.
Reviews inventory and orders parts; ships and receives machines; maintains equipment inventory.
Prepares machines for installation at accounts; assists in installations and removals.
Sets up and operates mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Assist the project team with installation activities as needed.
Terminate and Breakout outside fiber.
Pull and splice OSP high-count fiber optic cables.
Proactively maintain job site organization and basic housekeeping.
Organize materials, tools, and equipment, collect debris, and ensure hazardous conditions are promptly addressed.
Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
Know about the different materials and methodologies involved with the installation of a structured cabling system.
Furcate large strand count fiber(3456-6912).
Perform break fixes, troubleshoot, and read splice records and blueprints.
Understand a task and ask relevant questions before beginning to complete it.
Maintain compliance with customer security requirements.
Exhibit and maintain professional appearance and behavior.
This position is generally expected to require minimal overnight travel (5%) in certain regions, could require frequent (50%+) overnight and extended out-of-town travel in others.
The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

Minimum 1 year work experience in a fiber splicing role or industry related construction
Single and Ribbon Fiber splicing experience required
Experience with ISP and OSP
Read, write, and understand English
Able to distinguish color codes with the ability to read blueprints and schematics

Plant Cabling - Design, install, test, and configure telecommunications distribution systems to include, but not limited to, internal cabling, copper and fiber wiring, grounding systems, fiber inner ducts, fiber systems, and Protected Distribution Systems.
After completion of installation, any changes to plant cabling shall be annotated in the appropriate infrastructure diagrams.
Monitors and responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.
Installs and configures network hardware and software.
Provides network troubleshooting and support.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Information Systems Support - Provide support to the following information systems, to include but not limited to, JWICS, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, NSANet, and Tier networks.
Voice systems - Provide support for secure and non-secure voice systems, which include VoIP system and end instruments, distribution systems, outlets, encryption devices, signaling parameters (e.g. TDM, VoIP, Session Initiated Protocol (SIP), H.323 signaling protocol, etc), feature capabilities, conference capabilities, and trunk interfaces with variety of protocols.
Data systems - Support secure and non-secure data systems, such as Internet Protocol (IP) equipment, Network Management equipment, Switching Systems, Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Systems, Channel Service Units, Digital Service Units, Cryptographic equipment and patch facilities.
Transmission Systems - Maintain and support secure and non-secure transmission systems, such as fiber optic media, media convertors, copper media, and cryptographic equipment.
Video and Public Address Systems - Installation, configuration, and sustainment support for VTC Systems/Suites, Conference Room Systems, and Public Address Systems.
Telecommunications Construction Support - Provide telecommunications construction support to include, but not limited to; design support, establishing communication rooms, renovation of distribution support, modification of secure facilities to accommodate telecommunication support in accordance with Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and DoD directives. Conform to the following industry practices; Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), National Electric Code, and International Organization of Standardization (ISO 9000). The buildings would include but not be limited to housing cryptographic, COMSEC/INFOSEC, IA, and Communication Systems. This work is limited to incidental modification related to telecommunications installation projects and would involve minimal real property modification.
Network Troubleshooting - Provide troubleshooting expertise to determine network component and configuration issues. Provide recommendations and fixes to restore full network operability.
Problem Analysis and Resolution - Analyze and resolve matters according to priorities and periods defined in the network service level agreements. Escalate problems to appropriate organization or process when required. Utilize Government priority matrix when providing the basis for responding to service requests (i.e. trouble tickets).

Our Fiber Broadband Services Team is looking for a Broadband Technician. Broadband Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber-optic and VoIP services for residential and commercial members. This role includes maintaining the fiber plant, installing network components, troubleshooting service issues, and delivering an exceptional member experience. The technician must be able to work independently or as part of a team to resolve assigned service tickets in a timely manner. This position is part of an on-call rotation and may require weekend or holiday shifts.
Essential Job Duties
Installation and Repair
Install, test, and repair fiber-optic network equipment, VoIP services, and related
products.
Perform fiber splicing, OTDR testing, light-level analysis, and troubleshooting of
service issues.
Install outdoor wireless equipment and support Wi-Fi/network configurations at
the premise.
Identify routing paths and solutions for complex installations.
Operate bucket trucks, ladders, and work safely in confined spaces and at
heights.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, test results, and service
activity.
Request support from colleagues or vendors when issues cannot be resolved on
site.
Collaborate with contractors and other departments on installations and repairs.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and participate in required
training.
Customer Service and Member Relations
Resolve and close all assigned broadband service tickets promptly and
professionally with detailed notes.
Communicate clearly with members throughout installation or repair
processes.

Working Conditions:

Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

No previous experience is required as we provide training on draft beer system operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Starting Pay
* 2 weeks of training at a rate of $20.00/hr. Once you are assigned a route your compensation will move to a per-tap rate of $3.25 per beer line cleaned.
* The average full-time employee cleans 350-450 beer lines per two-week pay period.
