Town of Parker company history timeline
The Town of Parker was incorporated in 1981 and included the Rowley Downs subdivision, the downtown area and the Parker Square and Parker Plaza commercial areas.
Soon after incorporation in 1981, the Town adopted zoning and subdivision ordinances.
1995: The Town of Parker purchases the Mainstreet Center to house cultural and recreation programs and to preserve an important historic building.
2008: The second library ballot issue for funding fails.
2008: The Greater Parker Foundation is incorporated.
April 2010: Groundbreaking takes place for the PACE Center.
