Mr. Mark Janssen is the Chief Executive Officer of Towne Mortgage Company and serves on the Board at Towne Mortgage Company and American Community Homes as a Director. An accomplished financial institution executive with over 37 years of increasing responsibility in leadership and management roles.

Most recently, Mark has served as GSVP Retail Sales and Sales Operations of MB Mortgage, Chief Executive Officer of Amera Mortgage Corporation, Chief Operating Officer of Source One Mortgage Corporation, and Director Retail Production of CitiMortgage. Mark has proven expertise in running all aspects of mortgage lending as well as creating and executing successful strategic business plans aimed at restructuring, repositioning, growth, and recapitalization.

Mark obtained his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance at Wayne State University.

On a personal note, Mark is active in the community and a variety of charitable organizations, was previously a varsity high school coach, is currently a United States Ski Association official and former Board Member, and an active participant in anything outdoors.

John A. Korch is the Chief Production Officer of Towne Mortgage Company and a member of the Executive Committee. John has over 28 years in the mortgage banking industry covering Finance, Capital Markets, Community Lending, Consumer Direct and Retail Sales Management.

Most recently before coming to Towne, John served as Senior Vice President of Retail and Consumer Direct Sales at MB Financial Bank, N.A. John was previously Senior Vice President of Amera Mortgage Corporation, Vice President at Citigroup, and Vice President at Source One Mortgage Services Corporation.

John earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

John loves being outdoors all year round and spends as much time as possible ‘up north’ in Harbor Springs, MI. John enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, biking, hiking and spending time with his family and friends.

Monica Horger is a Chief People Officer at Towne Mortgage and is based in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She has worked as Director, Human Resources at Halo Industries, Inc.; Independent Human Resource Professional/Advisor and Consultant at Horger Ventures (HV) HR Solutions; and Vice President, Human Resources at Quicken Loans. Monica studied at RIVERVIEW BANCORP INC between 1980 and 1984, Walsh College between 2002 and 2005, and University of Michigan between 1986 and 1989.

Career-long focus on identifying opportunities, driving solutions and maximizing results while meeting customer and client needs. Strong financial and market analyst and strategist, with the ability to apply findings toward improved performance. Skilled in product development, and the management of projects, products and brands. Accomplished in several industries including mortgage, real estate, automotive, accounting/consulting and others. Extensive work with international partners. MBA and CPA.

Randy Temple is the Chief Information Officer at the Towne Mortgage. Well-recognized for his commitment to building teams that align strategy, processes, and IT assets with business goals; he takes his job seriously and is always willing and ready to complete the next task be that in development of hardware or networking applications.

Below are a select portion of his major achievements in IT:

✔ Grew a team from 95 to 230 team members while driving loan origination growth from $9B-$13B.

✔Oversaw the full cycle completion and launch of UClose that allowed clients to create same-day closing documents in order to expedite their ability to close loans, and increase market share.

✔ Acted as the main point of contact to drive the business to #1 wholesale lender in Q4 of 2015 and #1 in 2015. Also launched TRID to grow the business by over 30% in Q3 and Q4, allowing the business to become the #1 wholesale lender in the US in 2015.

✔ Remodeled the Development team to increase the NPS score rose from 51% to 75%. As a result, company was selected by Detroit Press as “Top Place to Work” 2 years straight.

✔ Developed a Network Operations Center (NOC) from the ground-up; this would soon become the focal point or “24-7 eyes and ears” for all internal corporate company operations.

✔ Improved internal platforms to grow $80+ billion in loan origination, up from $30 billion.

✔ Restructured the help-desk to support 4Xs the amount of volume in the same calendar year.

✔ Integrated Microsoft ForeFront Identity manager with Starfish and MyAccess to automate account creation & access during growth of 4,500 employees to over 14,000 employees in a 14 month span.
