About the Director of Sales Opportunity:
We are looking for a hands-on leader with proven success in the media and advertising space to join Townsquare El Paso as a Director of Sales. This is a management position focused on driving revenue by building a culture of success and leading a team to make Townsquare the best-in-class media company in their local market. Three of the biggest radio stations in the market with KLAQ, KISS and ESPN El Paso, not to mention one of the most successful morning shows in the country with the Buzz Adams Morning Show. Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
Lead daily operations of the radio, live event, and digital sales department, setting clear goals and accountability standards.
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team while fostering a culture of growth and success.
Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to elevate team performance in digital and traditional media sales.
Build strong client and community relationships to drive business growth.
Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute a strong sales strategy to drive revenue across all media channels.
Grow key accounts through results-driven, integrated marketing solutions and aggressive new business development.
Ensure the team meets and exceeds digital revenue goals while staying ahead of market trends.
Client Engagement & Sales Execution:
Lead the full sales process, from prospecting to closing, ensuring long-term client success.
Maintain an active presence in the field, coaching Account Executives and meeting with clients.
Deliver compelling, customized proposals and optimize campaigns for maximum results.
Qualifications:
3+ years of sales management and/or marketing experience in digital and broadcast media.
Strong understanding of digital marketing solutions with a proven track record of successfully selling digital products.
Radio sales experience is a plus.
Previous experience setting and enforcing sales metrics and accountability standards.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create engaging presentations and persuasive proposals.
