This position is responsible for the disassembly of DT12 transmissions by way of the established remanufacturing process. This position offers:
Starting pay of $23.00/hr. up to top pay of $32.46/hr.*
Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential

What You Drive at DTNA
Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including; repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput
Operate torque wrenches, air tools, presses, gauges, hoist, press, hand tools, computers, PIV.
Use of pallet jack & hoist
Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers
Inspect parts and identify parts that do not meet the standard
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Ability to problem solve
Must be able to diagnose unit functionality
Assembly of the transmission, using work instructions, manufacturer's procedures and O.E. specifications.
Diagnose and correct issues with build as they arise.
Adhere to established work rotation plan
Complete training matrix for each rotation position
Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy.
Knowledge You Should Bring
Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds. (with assistance from a teammember or use of hoist)
Must maintain a clean work area.
Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
Cross train on other jobs as required
Ability to operate riveting, torqueing, hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.
Read and understand Work Station Instruction documentation
Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating

A focus on the quality of products produced by reading and understanding part drawings and symbols (blueprints) along with basic math skills
Passionate to maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
Ability to operate a forklift with certification

What you will do:
To perform all work as detailed in the work instructions and to follow the direction given to them by Supervisors.
Follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
Work is performed both manually and with the aid of power equipment. Production of Quality parts, finished product is manually inspected, trimmed, assembled, and packed in containers.
Perform all duties as detailed in the work instructions satisfactorily and in a safe manner.
Employees are responsible for operating equipment to mold, trim, and assemble parts for the interiors of automobiles and trucks.
Load and install components in a quick and timely manner.
Timeliness to workstation at beginning of shift and returning from breaks.
Report all unsafe equipment and conditions to their supervisor.
Report all scrap (detailed) and good pieces of product thoroughly and honestly.
Always maintain good housekeeping.
Following standardized work processes in all areas and that each area.
Coordinate the movement of raw material to the line as needed to support production.
Perform the work of operators within their assigned team as needed.
Comply with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management.
Display a positive attitude towards safety, works safely, follows all company policies, and reports all.
unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards in accordance with the Auria Employee Charter and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Work any overtime required to support their assigned team.
