Who we're looking for Toyota's Experience Center - Central Customer Assistance Team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Customer Assistance Specialist. The Customer Assistance Team partners with customers to clearly communicate account status and ensure any late payments are addressed and averted. The team provides live support via inbound or outbound interactions across the TFS, LFS, and Private Label portfolios, and ensures customers are aware of their options and are properly educated about possible solutions. Due to the specialized nature of collections activities, an effective and customer-centric approach to these guest interactions is central to the broader TFS strategy. Customer Assistance Specialists are responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls for collection accounts, account maintenance, and liquidation for assigned portfolios. Customer Assistance Specialists are responsible for working accounts efficiently to maintain consistent follow-up, ensure account compliance, and complete necessary account maintenance. Specialists in Customer Assistance will also evaluate and mitigate loss exposure, providing customer-oriented service and problem resolution in accordance with established guidelines and call models. Center Operating Hours You must be available to work a shift between the hours of 8am-8pm. Your work schedule will include 2 nights until 8pm. Training Training for this position will fall between the hours of 8am-6pm Central time for 9 weeks. The first 6 weeks will be virtual training and the last 3 weeks of training will be in the office at our Plano location. Pay/Benefits Competitive base salary as well as benefits effective day 1. Hybrid (Home/Onsite) work schedule following training based on meeting and maintaining performance expectations. What you'll be doing * Analyze payment history and notes from the system and clearly communicate status to the customer using Call Model guidelines. * Document all activities in accordance with established procedures in a clear and concise manner utilizing the appropriate systems and appropriate forms. * Analyze account characteristics and negotiate with customers on acceptable arrangements to bring their account current and/or recommend appropriate solutions. * Use appropriate collection and skip tracing tools to maintain delinquencies, repossessions, and losses at or below corporate objectives. * Promptly report/refer sensitive and complex issues to the Customer Assistance Supervisor. * Complete non-phone-based projects and account maintenance/remediation efforts. * Offer critical decision-making as necessary when assigning accounts out for repossession. What you bring * High School Diploma or GED required. * Previous collections experience required. * Work collaboratively with other team members at all levels of the organization. * Listens actively and remains engaged. * Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; easy to understand. * Adaptability and coachability to work through complex changes/situations. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). What you'll be doing * The CRR Data Specialist role will work closely with and support the CRR Specialist(s) and the CRR Executive to ensure that TFSB maintains its overall safety and soundness as a federally insured depository bank. * Supports the vision, strategy, and execution for TFSB's annual Credit Risk Review plan, within the fiscal year, to oversee TFSB's credit risk taking activities. * Use sampling techniques to determine which credits are selected during the specific credit review engagements (both full-scope and targeted reviews). * The CRR Data Specialist role will work closely with and support the CRR Specialist(s) and the CRR Executive to complete an annual risk assessment of TFSB's loan portfolios (e.g., Mortgage, Automotive) as well as operations (e.g., underwriting, collections) to determine the annual Credit Risk Review plan and execute the plan. * The CRR Data Specialist role will work closely with and support the CRR Specialist(s) and the CRR Executive to provide TFSB's Senior Management and the Risk Committee of the Board with an independent and timely assessment of the following: * Analyze internal and external data, understand trends and draw inferences. * Benchmark internal data trends and KPIs with external benchmarks and regulatory guidance. * Responsible for independent data access and data extraction from business and corporate data sources, perform data analysis, trend analysis, etc. to support on-going monitoring of all TFSB portfolios. * Support data analysis during and as follow up to credit review (loan review) engagements, including targeted reviews and testing to ensure control effectiveness. * Identify relevant trends that affect the loan underwriting and contract booking as well as the collectability of the portfolios and highlight segments of the portfolio that are potential problem areas. * Assist in determining the adequacy TFSB's internal credit risk polices, guidelines, procedures and standards. * Identify loans with actual/potential weaknesses so that risk mitigation actions can be taken to strengthen TFSB's credit quality and minimize credit losses. * Using data analysis, assist in determining the sufficiency of TFSB's "watchlist". * Provide timely and pertinent reporting on asset quality as well as the overall quality of TFSB's loan portfolios (e.g., Mortgage, Automotive). * Assist in evaluating the reasonableness of the ALLL. What you bring * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Econometrics, or Quantitative field (STEM). * 2+ years of experience in credit risk management, credit risk review and/or internal audit in a financial services or banking institution with a demonstrated record of success. * Experience with data manipulation using Excel, summarization and cleaning of data, pivot tables, graphs, etc. * Data extraction tools, e.g., SQL, Snowflake * Data analysis tools, e.g., SAS, Python * Data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, QliKView, MicroStrategy. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform and support advanced security testing engagements across a wide range of next-generation modern automotive systems throughout our connected vehicle ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the person in this role will join the Product Cybersecurity Group to help shape the overall cybersecurity posture for our connected vehicle ecosystem.
