Mark Gruzin is the Chief Executive Officer for Frontline Education. He is responsible for Frontline’s core strategy and vision, leading the organization in our service of the K-12 education community. Mark also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Frontline Education. Mark comes to Frontline Education from Blackboard, an educational technology company, where he served as president of global markets. Prior to his work with Blackboard, Gruzin held multiple executive roles in IBM’s software group. Mark’s core competencies include organizational leadership and execution, business strategy and innovation, operational readiness and driving business performance. He brings all of these areas of expertise and more to Frontline Education including his passion, both personally and professionally, to align with mission-oriented organizations. Mark attended the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business. As an active member of the community, He also served on the Board of Director’s for the National Fragile X Foundation and is a Special Olympics Coach.
