    The Quality Technician at the Bowling Green Distribution Center is responsible for evaluating, analyzing and documenting incoming product returns. This person will also be called upon to conduct periodic inspections of incoming product. The technician is expected and must be able to work in a warehouse environment, required to understand and apply all applicable work instructions and responsible for documenting all data surrounding returns. The Tech will be responsible for working with other members of the DC team to ensure correct identification, segregation and analysis of returns. The Tech will be responsible to help monitor any rework processes. Responsibilities: Perform inspection and data entry of various Culinary products in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. Determine acceptable criteria using defined engineering and quality criteria. Able to follow rework, testing, and/or inspection protocols. Document all product inspections accurately to reflect the inspection criteria used, results and any needed rework was performed. Perform product audits to validate performance, features, and quality expectations as needed. Process Customer / Consumer Returns as needed based on company standards for disposition criteria. Maintain work areas to assure a clean and safe work environment. Adherence to all safety requirements is a must. Perform other duties or projects as assigned by the Quality Leader. Experience/Qualifications: Minimum H.S Diploma or equivalent. 2+ year(s) experience working in a Distribution Center setting preferred. Requires attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work with minimal direction or guidance. Ability and willingness to work with a team. Must be able to work flexible hours/days. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to sit/stand for extended periods (possibly 8 hours per day). Lifting up to 5 pounds frequently.
