Your role:
Accomplish maintenance and engineering functions of the hotel.
Ensures all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies are corrected
Administers the preventative maintenance program as required, properly completing work orders on time.
Completes training regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines
Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
Meets with vendors and suppliers to discuss scope of, and products and materials used in, repair activities
Obtains pricing and bids as directed
What we're looking for:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services for a hotel.
Lifting of up to 75 pounds and carrying of up to 25 pounds may be required.

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Maintenance Technician Level II is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and doing repairs within Grand Lodge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and various texturing work
Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and ground care in the winter and landscaping tasks in summer
Troubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and three phase electrical panels and circuits
Paint interiors and exteriors of buildings
Remove/install faucets, seats, drain seals, toilets, and auto flushers
Troubleshoot and repair drainage problems, water leaks, and lack of water
Woodworking on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs, and doors
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills and be able to effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the following: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, woodwork, drywall, and various texturing
CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot tub chemicals
Able to work on ladders and scaffoldings, use power tools and equipment, and operate company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions
Able to work with various chemicals, including pool chemicals, concrete sealers, and painting products
Familiarity with OSHA PPE protocols preferred
Must be able to perform heavy lifting and strenuous work such as snow removal
Able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Basic hand tools required; specialty tools provided

Reviews and understands the operating and maintenance requirements of the main plant, remote plants, and distribution system.
Acquires bids and oversees contractors for maintenance and other services.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment as directed.
Complete all necessary logs, records, maintenance documentation, and plant paperwork as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by plant management (i.e., facility cleaning, customer heat exchangers, etc.).

Experience operating tractors and hay equipment.
General mechanic skills for troubleshooting and repairing vehicles and farm equipment.
