The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, and uniforms are cleaned, dried, folded, and distributed according to brand standards. This role supports overall guest satisfaction by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, and safety within the laundry operation.
Essential Job Functions
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store hotel linens, towels, and staff uniforms
Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Follow proper chemical usage and safety procedures at all times
Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area
Distribute clean linens to housekeeping and retrieve soiled items
Assist with linen inventory counts and par level maintenance
Follow brand standards and hotel policies for linen handling
Support housekeeping team as needed during high-volume periods
Report maintenance issues with equipment promptly
Qualifications & Skills
Prior hotel laundry experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals and equipment (training provided)
Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
Review the assigned area and complete general removal of any trash.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas.
Remove all dust, debris, and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushions.
Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with the Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:
The Guest Service Attendant's responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting all guests they come in contact with on the front drive. The Guest Service Attendant will assist guests with retrieving vehicles efficiently and assist with their luggage as well as other requests as needed.

* Prepare garnishes.
* Stock glassware and paper supplies.
* Prepare mixes.
* Check condition and cleanliness of blender, shaker, and other tools.
* Accurately complete beverage consumption forms.
* Be ready for service 15 minutes before start time of scheduled event.
* Greet guests and take their orders, utilizing, suggestive/up selling techniques.
* Input orders into system; legibly document orders when system is down.
* Ensure that all cash bar drinks orders from Servers and accurately rung into the Silverware system or collect drink tickets before giving drinks.
* Prepare all drink orders for guests according to specified recipes.
* Serve drinks to guests in accordance with departmental standards.
* Issue, open and serve wine/champagne bottles; collect payment/tickets where specified.
* Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge guests even where busy.
* Use a jigger to ensure proper pouring procedures.
* Maintain positive guest relations.
* Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry.
* Handle guest complaints following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of bar top, tables, and service areas.
* Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.
* Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly, ensuring no shortages throughout scheduled function time.
* Ensure proper authorization for additional payments as required prior to replenishing.
* Clearly communicate last call at designated closing time to guests, Banquet Supervisor and servers.
* Transport bar unit with all supplies and equipment from function area to designated area and breakdown the bar in accordance with departmental procedures.
* Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
* Legibly complete bottle transfer on consumption sheet and distribute accurately.
* Legibly document designated items on the spill sheet.
* Ensure maximum usage of all supplies to attain budgeted cost and to prevent waste.
* Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
* Complete closing side duties:
* Properly store all reusable goods in designated areas.
* Empty and drain ice bin; clean sink.
* Wipe clean all surfaces of bar and bottles; clean all bar equipment and tools.
* Secure all liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
* Remove trash can and return to Beverage office.
* Perform through walk-through of event space when function is complete.
* Complete all closing reports in Silverware system as needed when a cash bar is being used.
* Count bank at end of shift complete designated reports and drop receipts in secure bank.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of Banquet beverage cage and office.
* Successful completion of the training/certification process.
Secondary Functions:
* Assist with weekly/monthly inventories when assigned.
* Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
* Assist in other bar areas as assigned.
* Legibly document maintenance needs on work orders and submit to Manager.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
* 2 year(s) experience as a bartender or bar back.
* Food handling certification.
* RBS certification.

* Ability to provide legible communication.
* Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
