I learned how to operate many machine equipments that I can be certified for
The hours I can choose to work at will.
The lack of growth to promotion
The ESPP and the discount on stocks for employees
I walked in confidently
By adding more Spanish signs and advertisements to their understanding. Also organizing the store merchandise more efficiently
The experience of working around other experienced animal owners and the knowledge gained by them and customers will forever be the best part. Clientele is awesome.
Upper management needs to promote from within without regards to age.
Working where animals are welcome. Just about anything comes thru the doors!!
Never had contact with the CEO and a lot could be changed amongst the leadership
Hire managers that didn’t look at age but performance when deciding who and when to promote
I went in as true to myself as I possibly could and with honesty in what I could give and what I needed to take away as an employee
That’s another big factor in the turnover with Tractor Supply, wages are extremely low for the market and for the work performed
The demographics are diverse and seem to be represented fairly across the board. I wouldn’t consider that a major problem at Tractor Supply
I had the most joy working with some colleagues I could joke around with and being able to do a wide variety of duties instead of being confined to one area of the store, like just being at the register.

Lousy Managment, they simply don't care. And in our small town the word is out. Do not work there.
There are no benifits, no perks, nothing.
Competent managers would be a start. A positive word would be nice as well.
No prep needed, they will hire anyone. No one wants to work there.
No compensation, they hire part rime personnel, treat them like crap, and they leave.
This is a small town, the hire who the can, diversity goes out the window.
Quitting.
flexible schedule and opportunities to go up on the management ladder.
pay cap on positions that make it easier to keep a work life balance.
discount on tools and other household items that help keep cost of living low.
new construction, installation of safety products
Favoritism
Retirement, health benifits,401k profit share
The difference learning of technology and team work.
No room to grow in the company.

Worst job ever I will never work at tractor supply ever again

The pay is ok that was the only thing good
I enjoyed taking care of customers, making sure the store had a decent appearance, maintain neatness of products, making sure store process flowed smoothly
Management did not know how to manage properly, and I have 10 plus years management experience and never was promoted but did management jobs
Getting products at 50% off, being able to talk to plenty of nice people, very enjoyable work environment, only issue was management
The fun environment and supportive co-workers.
Lot's of labor with stocking feed.
Employee discount.
The people are wonderful and I have learned a ton.
Scheduling can be quite difficult, Sometimes get called into work when not scheduled.
30 minute unpaid lunch break if working 6+ hour shift
I liked the people i got to meet and the coworkers I got to work with
I dont like teh management
The employee discount
The employees are family, we work hard.
The proper lighting /shelter outside for depressing propane
The customers I enjoy talking to them getting to know them
It’s a fun atmosphere and physical work environment.
Concrete can be rough on your feet and starting pay is low
Definitely the Monthly bonus if you exceed your monthly sales target
