SUMMARY
The Financial Services Representative I delivers personalized customer service by holding financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine their needs and provide appropriate solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Delivers personalized customer service in person and over the phone, answering client questions, assisting with issues, and offering solutions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
1+ year of experience in Retail banking sales, Financial services sales, Consultative relationship sales role in a related industry, with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening customer relationships and delivering results
High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
Beginning October 1, 2018, the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required), and Life licenses are required. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses within 180 days of hire
Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meets internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training
Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products/services to customers with differing needs
Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
College degree or military equivalent
Professional, thorough, and organized with strong follow-up skills
Exude confidence with clients when sharing product knowledge and solutions

This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. In this role you will:
Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach as well as proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
Receive direction from managers and exercise judgement within defined policies and procedures
Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs

Required Qualifications:
6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

SUMMARY
